Dance of the Drunken Mantis Review

I thought that this movie was slightly better. If Jackie or some other good acrobat could have played the role of Foggy in this movie it definitely would have gotten 5 stars.

WARNING:the version I have is the Blackbelt theater version and it also comes with From China With Death, which really sucked. The picture quality on these movies is truly some of the worst that I have ever seen. It is watchable if you are a fan of EVERYBODY in this movie, Rubber Legs CAN'T be seen if there is a white backround.

Dance of the Drunken Mantis Overview

Some people call this the proper sequel to Drunken Master. From Yuen Woo Ping, the action director of The Matrix films and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, this film combines the motions of both the deadly drunken manti and drunken boxing fighting styles and comedy! Trouble begins when Rubber Legs (Hwang Jang Lee), the leader of the south school of Drunken Boxing, has it in for Sam The Seed (Simon Yuen), the leader of the rival north School.
